Local Responsible Retailers

These retailers show responsible sales protocols by requiring proof of age from young appearing consumers attempting to buy alcohol, based on purchase surveys. These surveys are conducted by having a young person, who is at least 21 years of age but who appears under 20, attempt to buy alcohol without identification. 

Alcohol Purchase Surveys are NOT law enforcement operations and since the buyer is over the age of 21, no laws are broken if a clerk continues with the sale. 


The clerks at the following stores had no intent to sell, asking to see ID of young appearing patrons attempting to purchase alcohol, during the most recent survey assessments (March 2022-April 2023).
