About Orange Partnership

Orange Partnership began in 2008 as a grassroots community coalition as an initiative of Healthy Carolinians of Orange County, which identified underage drinking as a concern in Orange County. Through the years, coalition efforts expanded to include prevention of other substance use by youth by addressing the root causes leading to substance use. The past decade has seen tremendous growth in coalition membership and initiatives. Here are some highlights:


Orange Partnership is an initiative of Healthy Carolinians of Orange County and is housed at Freedom House Recovery Center. It is supported through community donations as well as local and federal grants, including the Orange County ABC Board and SAMHSA grants.
